Work at Height Training

RigSafe can supply work at height training courses educating delegates in the safe use of harnesses, lanyards and associated equipment (see below for details). All of these training courses can be carried out either at your own venue or at specialist training centres in Cheshire, London and across the UK. Facilities for work at height training include 20 Metre Towers, a specially designed 15 Metre steel structure and indoor wind turbine simulator in Cheshire and a dedicated scaffold structure in North London.

All work at height training is conducted in accordance with "BS8454:2006 code of practice for the delivery of training in work at height and rescue"

On completion of any training course, successful delegates will be issued with a certificate and ID card. These will be valid for three years, after which it is recommended delegates seek refresher training.

Other bespoke height safety and rescue training courses can be arranged according to your needs. Please email rigsafe@engineer.com or call 0844 443 5606 to speak to our training team.

RigSafe can also offer a work at height consultancy service. We are happy to recommend safe systems of work in accordance with current legislation and suggest suitable equipment and training for your staff.

Course Entry Criteria

During training, delegates will be expected to carry out practical activities at height.

All delegates must be able to certify that they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that might prevent them completing practical training.
